The disabled people suffers from different issues depending on the level of disability. The researchers proposed and introduced numerous projects and research works to solve the mentioned problems. This paper proposed a wheelchair movement control system based on Electroencephalography (EEG) signals of human brain for quadriplegia people using face actions. The proposed system includes two main parts. The first part is represented by the Five Channels Emotiv headset that reads the EEG signals related to face actions. These actions are frown, surprise, blink and right/left winks. The adopted headset sends the EEG signals to the second part using Bluetooth technology. At the second part, the Raspberry Pi III receives the EEG signals to be processed applying the proposed algorithm to produce the wheelchair movement control signals. In addition, two ultrasound sensors are added to perform the emergency stop action in presence of obstacles for safety reasons. Numerous case studies are adopted to test the proposed system under the real-time rules. The proposed system has been tested over different case studies to tackle distinct conditions of moving. The obtained results show that the system is working with accuracy ratio of 70%.

Hybrid method of moments and physical optics (MoM-PO) method is implemented to analyze antenna radiation patterns around arbitrarily shaped structures, where the antenna is taken as the MoM-region and the structure as the PO-region. Modelling of the structures is done by using non-uniform rational b-spline (NURBS) surfaces and modified Ludwig’s Algorithm is applied to calculate the current integral for the PO-region.

Human growth in diversified fields has impacted atmosphere a lot. Every time Nature wants to balance and to tune with the universal effects. Resistance of human imbalances all of it’s efforts, which results into disaster like Forest fire and a big reason of global warming. Early detection of fire has been much explored with available limited technology of satellite imaging in terms of spatial and temporal resolution. Sensors spectral coverage has enhanced data acquisition to a reliable degree in those EM spectrum bands[1]. But in changing atmospheric conditions, shadowing of objects, fire spot finding in deep forests, difference finding in fire smoke and clouds are big challenges in remote sensing via satellite imaging[1][2].\nOur approach works on the pixels statistics of Red, green and blue intensities which are tested with infrared image of the same granule[12][14]. Granule of forest cover ( Longitude : 77.1185E, 79.4806 E and Latitude : 29.2672 N,79.4806 N ) by LANDSAT-8 oli is used for this purpose. The selection criteria of forest cover are its density and irregular geo-physical properties in the Himalayan belt. \nThe degree of correlation of Red, Green and Blue bands are compared with the infrared\\thermal spectral band images separately and it is found that Red and green color is having great degree of correlation[8][9]. Blue color suffers maximum scattering in the earth’s atmosphere so degree of correlation get reduced and sometimes it shows negative correlation. Because of greater scattering blue band is not considered in recognition duration. In deep forests infrared spectral cover has been tested in anomaly finding and linearity of smoke flume has been tested in different segments of the image.\nForest fire detection and recognition has been performed in many cases so far using MODIS sensors (Terra and acqua ) with a spatial resolution of 1km. The contextual approach of fire detection is followed by the hybrid contextual approach using multispectral imagery[1][3]. In hybrid approach fire pixels are separated and background is suppressed using squared Mahalanobis distance.

Chronic malnutrition (stunting) has been accepted a critical issue of infants under five in Pakistan, even with a significant socio-economic advancement and interventions aimed at improving it. 45 % prevalence rate of stunting is a crucial situation in Pakistan (NIPS 2012). Although various considerable confounders of stunting have been discussed in past studies, the role of maternal formal schooling with several pathways is not signified in any study to reduce infant stunting. Therefore, this research will call for investigation the impact of mother schooling on stunting and will also compare male female infants stinting empirical estimates using latest available database of Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey 2012-13 (PDHS). This study will justify the stunting as preferred measure for long term infant health.As the z-score of height-for-age (stunting) is taken in a dichotomous form, BLRM (Binary logistic regression model) will be used to test the effect of mother education on chronic malnutrition controlling for other explanatory variables. Being a most important confounder, mothers’ educational status is not satisfactory in Pakistan as 44.5 % and 32 % mothers are illiterate and primary passed respectively. Empirical findings show that primary and secondary/higher passed mothers (OR =0.862 & 0.639; p<0.05), mother empowerment (OR = 0.724; p<0.05) and husbands with primary schooling (OR =0.732; p<0.01) lead to less likelihood of infant stunting (in general and in separate male & female infants case) against mothers having no education, male household head and husband secondary schooling respectively. Mothers with health information, rich household status, utilizing health care services and urban location are significantly noted less susceptible to kids stunting. The research outcomes suggest policy interventions to upgrade female education that reduce chronic malnutrition.

Organisms always live in a certain physical environment where geomagnetic field, cosmic magnetic field and artificial magnetic fields play an important part, among others. With industrial development, more people are concerned about the harmful effects of the magnetic fields on the living creatures including insects. The aims of this research are to find out the effect of exposure to the magnetic field on the bioactivity of Apis Mellifera L. venom via anticancer activity in vitro assay. Also, to detect the exposure effect on the general chemical composition of the venom using FTIR spectroscopy and SDS-PAGE analysis. The results showed that the anticancer activity of the bee venom reduced due to the exposure to the magnetic field and the chemical composition analysis revealed changes in the peptides that present in the venom.

The construction sector is the oldest and conventional project based sector. It is being changed by technologies disruptive influence. Construction projects involve multiple wastes, delays, overruns and inefficiency which leads to project delay, budget over consumption, decrease in quality and customer dissatisfaction. Lean construction can be included in the projects to improve the overall efficiency. Theoretical study of lean construction has been done by many researchers but lack of study in the implementing stage of lean techniques in construction process prevents stakeholders of construction sector to adopt lean into their projects. This study was carried out to explore the effect of lean construction and applicability of various lean techniques in the construction sector. A literature review was done to understand the conventional construction practices and lean construction in the construction sector. Questionnaire survey was used to understand the impact of lean construction in the sector and to prioritize the lean techniques. A lean management model was developed using the prioritized lean techniques and implemented in a multistoried housing project and its effectiveness has been measured. The model has improved the work effectiveness, productivity and helped in completing the project ahead of schedule.

In this paper a parametric study on the geometry of a bridge deck with constant B/H ratio for its aerodynamic characterization was carried out. RANS (Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes Equation) approach in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used for solving the flow problem around the bridge deck. A kω-SST model was used for the simulation for a Reynolds Number of 1x105. Unsteady state simulations were performed, for the bridge deck of the Great Belt East Bridge (GBEB), to obtain the force coefficients. The validity of the simulation results was found to be in good agreement with the experimental results available in the literature. Further, ten different deck cross section having same B/H ratio as that of the GBEB deck section, but having varied interior angle of inclination of the triangular fairing were considered. The study aimed at finding out an effective section which has better aerodynamic stability. The influence of turbulence intensity of the deck was also studied.

This study examines the possible relationship between company’s characteristics and voluntary disclosure reports been published in every six (6) months, with focus on some of the selected variables that could impact on voluntary disclosure of ASE listed companies in Jordan. The estimation approach of GMM dynamic panel system has been adopted on the data selected from 120 ASE list of companies within a time frame of five years (2012-2016). This paper further determines the association between voluntary disclosure and attributes of selected companies (namely company size, audit firm size, the profitability of the company, leverage of the company, type of industry, number of employees, foreign ownership, audit committee and shariah approved company). The findings from this research indicated significant difference among the selected companies based on the following parameters; company size, industry type, the profitability of a company, shariah approved company, audit committee and audit firm size and voluntary disclosure. Meanwhile, no significant difference was observed among the foreign ownership, the number of employees and voluntary disclosure. The study, however, provides empirical evidence on how companies are affected based on some chosen parameters and the important role these parameters play in improving the nature of corporate firms in Jordan.

Gentamicin (GM) as aminoglycoside antibiotic is commonly used for treatment of various bacterial infections; whereas potential use of it is limited due to development of renal failure and nephrotoxicity during prolonged use. Our study addressing the assessment of protective effect of Moringa oleifera (MO) extract and Sesame oil (SE) against gentamicin induced DNA damage and nephrotoxicity. Thirty six male mice were divided into six groups 6 each. Negative and positive control groups (C, MO, SE groups), gentamicin group (GM group) was administrated intraperitoneal 100 mg/kg of gentamicin for 10 days, moringa group (GMM group) was administered gentamicin (100 mg/kg) and 300 mg/kg of ethanolic extract of Moringa oleifera and sesame group (GMO group) was administered gentamicin (100 mg/kg) and 4 ml/ kg of sesame oil. Histological changes were recorded in kidney sections of GM group as histo-architectural distortions, tubular damage with interstitial inflammations. However necrosis of tubules was found to be prevented by Moringa oleifera extract or/and sesame oil treatment. Moreover gentamicin treatments revealed an increase in the rate of DNA fragmentation as evident by high percent of polymorphism and disappearance of some DNA loci. However, some disappeared DNA loci have been existed and percent of polymorphism was decreased in moringa and sesame oil co-administration with gentamicin groups. Conclusion, our results indicate protective effect of Moringa oleifera extract or/and sesame oil against kidney toxicity resulted in gentamicin treatment.

The study aimed at identifying the impact of the components of the internal control system in accordance with the framework of the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) in reducing the risk of cloud computing in Jordanian public shareholding companies from the viewpoint of Jordanian accountants. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The sample included 190 public accountants, the questionnaires were distributed to all sample members, and all of them were retrieved. After excluding (36) questionnaires, the number of valid questionnaires was (154), or (81.1%) of the distributed questionnaires. The study data were analyzed using appropriate statistical analysis tools, using the SPSS statistical program. The study concluded that the adoption of the techniques of cloud accounting and the framework of the Commission requires the provision of the appropriate environment to understand the hardware and software and provide appropriate resources for information technology, infrastructure and skills required. The COSO framework also provides internal control activities that reduce the risk of adopting information systems in general and accounting information systems in particular. The contribution of the Association of Accountants and Auditors and the Supervisory Board of the profession of auditing the accounts and universities to develop practical training programs for auditors using cloud accounting and all risks associated with it, as well as follow-up audit offices for local and international publications related to the information technology and cloud and the most important developments in the framework of the (COSO) Committee.

Today, at this digital age, we are facing a new challenge called Big Data that almost exists in many real world live applications such as E-commerce, Social Media, and Medical Diagnoses that take a very long processing time. In addition, such data sets usually encounter class imbalance problems, which could lead to biased classification results and wrong decisions. This paper introduces a revolutionary algorithm LSH-SMOTE for learning from Imbalanced Big data sets based on a modified version of SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique). However, instead of using K-Nearest Neighbor technique as the conventional SMOTE does, we use LSH (Locality Sensitive Hashing) technique for finding the Nearest Neighbors, and then, we use the SMOTE algorithm for creating synthetic instances. Our experimental results have shown that the new algorithm has outperformed the traditional SMOTE sometimes by more than 69% in class Balancing time ,and achieved better classification results against SMOTE algorithm and several most recent variations of SMOTE algorithm.

In this paper, biomass in the form of goat manure was pyrolyzed by using a fixed-bed reactor. The effect of temperature between the range of 300 and 600 °C on gas, liquid and solid products was examined. The product yields were significantly influenced by the pyrolysis temperature. The bio-oil obtained at 500 °C, at which the liquid product yield was maximum, was analysed using elemental analysis and Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). Composition of bio-oil product contains organic compounds such as, benzenes, alcohols, alkanes, alkenes, ketones, phenols and poly aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). These results indicated that goat manure should be used as a valuable feedstock for production of the bio-oil.

The Egyptian genera of subfamily Pomplinae as well as the species of genus Agenioideus Ashmead are keyed. Diagnoses and criteria to facilitate the identification of the subfamily and genus are provided. Keys of twenty seven genera of subfamily Pomplinae and twenty seven species of genus Agenioideus Ashamed (basedon females and males specimens) are constructed to facilitate identification of the taxa under consideration. Agenioideus sp. is recorded for first time from Egypt. Twenty four species subjected to nomenclatorial changes.

The availability and quality of groundwater has always been a major concern for the development of irrigated agriculture, particularly in arid regions where surface water resources are insufficient or meager to meet the irrigation demand. As a result of the arid climate of Saudi Arabia, groundwater is the most precious natural resource, providing reliable water supply for the resident population. \nThe main aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of groundwater resources in selected Hail regions. This study focused on the chemical analysis of the available groundwater resources in these areas of Saudi Arabia. A total of about 61 groundwater samples were collected for analysis. Parameters such as pH, electrical conductivity (EC), sodium (Na), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), carbonate (CO3--) bicarbonate (HCO-3), chloride (Cl-), sodium adsorption ratio (SAR) and heavy metal were analyzed to assess the suitability of groundwater for agricultural purposes. The pH values were between 7.10 and 8.23 (M = 7.66). The salinity of groundwater, as a primary indicator of water quality for irrigation, ranged between moderate and high in most studied water samples. Besides salinity, 31.1% of Hail groundwater samples have the potential risk of chloride hazard (chloride > 10 meq L-1). All water samples have SAR of less than 9. Moreover, the trace elements were within acceptable levels.

The study was conducted in two stages, namely 1) bioprocess through the stages of shrimp waste deproteinization with Bacillus licheniformis and mineralization with Aspergillus niger, the inoculum dose and time of treatment bioprocess, aiming to get the best nutritional content of products; 2) Test ration, aims to establish bioprocess products in the ration by performance measuring (feed intake, weight gain, and feed conversion) of broiler chickens. The result showed that the bioconversion of shrimp waste deproteinization through the stages of the Bacillus licheniformis at a dose of 4 percent for 4 days, and continued the process of mineralization by Aspergillus niger at a dose of 3 percent over 3 days, resulted in the best nutritional value. The use of bioprocess products at a rate of 20 percent in the ration support the achievement on broiler chickens optimality performance (feed intake, weight gain, and feed conversion).
