The Previous researches of Ouargla region sand dunes focused on the diagnostic side and study of its crystalline state. These researches showed that the sand dunes of Ouargla region in its natural state (Ref) consist of quartz and gypsum, and when it heated at different temperatures (600,1200°C) appear other elements such as (Anhydrite, Wollastonite and Cristobalit) [1,2].In our research we will focus on other aspect of the study, which is the measurement of sand dune physical properties.\nThe aim of this work focused on the measurement of the real and imaginary parts of electrical impedance , in sand dunes of Ouargla region in different temperatures (natural state, 600 and 1200 °C), at a range frequencies intervals between 0,01 Hz and 1,355 Hz with AC voltage 1.000 V , using the impedance spectroscopy.\nThe impedance spectroscopy is a powerful proven method of analysis in research and development of materials [3]. This technique is based on the modeling results by equivalent electrical circuits which have the same frequency response as the sample [4].\nThe experimental results revealed that the real and imaginary parts of electrical impedance have strong frequency and temperatures dependence. \nIn the frequency range between (0,01 - 0,6914) Hz at natural state the real part of electrical impedance takes a negative values, however, at remaining frequencies the real part values are positive. But at 600°C in frequencies range between (0,01-0,0239 and 0,968-1,355) Hz and in frequencies between (0,04685-0,6914) Hz. At 1200°C the real part of electrical impedance value is maximized in 0,01 Hz. \nThe imaginary part of electrical impedance values are positive at certain frequencies and temperature and negative at others, such as in 0,01 Hz at room temperature and 600°C but at 1200°C . \nThe nature of impedance electric variation indicated a possibility to know the polarization of Ouargla region sand dunes and acquaintance the when the material is passive devices (consumes power) or active devices (produces power). It is also possible to know the quality of equivalent electrical circuit, whether to know if it’s induction or capacitance.
